Meet Our Donors

Dr. Robert and Mrs. Marjorie Smink
Dr. Robert and Mrs. Marjorie Smink create a legacy that continues their dedication to supporting the Lankenau general surgery residency program far into the future.

Richard and Ann Frankel
"Right here, in our community, we have a stellar, state-of-the-art medical center that excels in research and patient-focused care," says Ann Frankel. "Richard and I want to ensure that Lankenau’s tradition of medical excellence continues for others."

Dr. Leroy T. Gerson
Dr. Gerson and his wife, Eileen, believe that we have come so far in medicine, but much more progress needs to be made. Putting Lankenau in their will was a useful way for them to make a gift that will support important work in healthcare.

Jerry and Wendy Santoro
"We've known each other since fourth grade," says Wendy Santoro, wife of Jerome Santoro, MD, Infectious Disease specialist and former Chairman of the Department of Medicine for Main Line Health. The two met at Lamberton Elementary School. They struck up a friendship that would later blossom into a romance, a working relationship, and a partnership as strong supporters of Lankenau Medical Center.

Dr. Charles "Chuck" Schleifer
Two things that patients immediately sensed about Dr. Charles "Chuck" Schleifer when they were in his presence: his love of medicine and patients and his love of life and laughter. His sense of humor comes from his late father, a self-employed "jobber" and a real jokester. Now retired, Chuck looks back on his younger years and the decisions he made that led him to become a physician at Lankenau Medical Center.

Marie and Chuck Chilcott
Whenever Marie Chilcott thinks of her late father, Peter Caruso, she thinks of Lankenau with a grateful smile.
